The Moment Everything Shifted

I remember the exact moment it hit me —

I was sitting at my desk, staring at my laptop, and suddenly the silence in the house felt deafening.

For the first time in decades… it was just me.

And out of nowhere came the thought that knocked the wind from my lungs:

“They don’t need me anymore… so who am I now?”

It felt like a punch to the chest — grief, emptiness, confusion and panic

all wrapped into one tidal wave I never saw coming.

One minute I was working, the next I was spiralling into
Who am I outside of ‘Mom’?
What am I supposed to do with my days?
How do I even begin to shape a life that’s just mine?

And just as that wave hit, an old memory flashed through my mind —
a holiday we all took together…
all of us laughing, connected, full, whole.

And the grief of that moment cracked me open.

Because the truth was…

I had no idea who I was without them.

Not really.
Not deeply.
Not honestly.

I realised I had been performing roles for so long — mother, peacekeeper, provider,

emotional anchor, fixer, do-er of everything —
that somewhere along the way…

I disappeared.

The Rock-Bottom Realisation

I wasn’t just tired.

I was bone tired. Soul tired.

Tired of being who I thought I had to be.
Tired of adjusting myself to fit every role.
Tired of silencing the quiet little voice inside me saying:

“There’s more.
There’s more to you.
There’s more to life.
Go find her.”

But I didn’t know how.
Or where to begin.
Or even who to look for, because I’d forgotten her.

I had spent so many years being everything to everyone that I had no idea who I was supposed to be now.

And yet… the yearning wouldn’t go away.

That whisper of possibility.
The pull toward something bigger.
The ache to live again — fully, unapologetically, as me.

Coaching Found Me - and Saved Me

I didn’t go looking for life coaching.
It found me — in a way I didn’t expect, at a time I didn’t realise I needed saving.

I didn’t know what to expect.
Didn’t feel ready.
Didn’t know if it would help.

But I took the leap anyway.

And what happened next… shifted the entire trajectory of my life.

I like to say this was the moment the Phoenix in me stirred.

Coaching cracked me open, stripped away decades of masks and roles, and revealed a woman beneath that I hadn’t seen or met in years:

The real me.

The curious me.
The adventurous me.
The brave me.
The woman I always secretly hoped was in there but didn’t know how to find.

Piece by piece, layer by layer, I rebuilt her —
the authentic version of myself I never had the time, space or freedom to be before.

My Transformation became My Calling

As I rose, so did my purpose.

I realised I wasn’t meant to keep this healing, clarity, courage, freedom and fulfillment to myself.

I was meant to guide other women — especially empty-nest women — through the same journey.

Women who feel stuck between chapters.
Women who miss themselves.
Women who want more — even if they don’t know what that “more” is yet.
Women who feel that tug inside saying,
“I’m not done yet.”

I studied. Trained. Qualified. Launched my own practice.
And transformed from entrepreneur to purposeful, fulfilled business owner.

Now I get to wake up every day and help women become who they were always meant to be —
not who life required them to be.

I am insatiably curious about absolutely everything.

I love Adventure, Change, Exploration,

discovering and experiencing different things.

I'm pretty much Fearless!

I've lived on 3 different continents over the past 8 years.

I've explored 4 continents,

from the rain forests in Australia, to the temples of Thailand,

the cobblestone streets in Europe to the Bushveld in South Africa.

I travel if, wherever,

and when I feel like it.

I love being outdoors - exploring, driving and discovering interesting things, places, scenery, and am acutely aware and observant of signs and symbolism.

I've learned to live with gratitude, in the moment, and find joy

in the simple things in life.

A nice live catch-up chat with the kids, no matter where we are,

(thank goodness for Technology!), seeing something pretty

like beautiful plants, flowers, animals, the ocean -

playing board/card games, reading, good food, meditating, a breathtaking sunset -

working with my powerful crystals.

I love stormy weather, the rain and the wind often blowing me to bits, an indulgent bath with tons of bubbles, an ice-cold drink on a hot day - talking to my cat and other animals I encounter!

I'm intrigued by trying to make sense of the Universe and

all its complexities and secrets.

I like Technology, learning about Engineering and the in-fathomable perplexities and possibilities of Quantum Physics.

I love the scent of my incense, my favorite perfume, walking barefoot - sometimes feeling discomfort and fear, pushing past that and doing it anyway, usually head-first!

I don't believe in failure,

only Learning.

I love gardening, plants, insects, birds and pretty much everything with 4 or more legs.

I grew up in religion

but have found my home in Spirituality.

I believe in The Universe, The Power of Words, Thoughts, Energy and I'm slightly obsessed with Learning and Self-development and Growth.

I am always enrolled in some kind of course. I participate weekly in live online workshops and meet with my own mentor and coach once a week.

I know myself better than I ever did before and now accept and quite like myself. (in a humble way!) I now Embrace myself, and all the unique bits of me, that make me - Me

I'm open to new possibilities, ideas, opinions and adventures

and like the fact that I never quite know what might be around the next corner in my journey!

Being able to help so many women through my work makes me

the most purpose-driven and fulfilled I've ever been, which is absolutely amazing!

I absolutely LUV getting older

as it is a privilege denied many.

I have immense gratitude for every hour I am alive because I'm aware that Time Will Eventually Run Out.
